1. About This Page
This page explains how to delete your account and your data from Utso, the HR, payroll, CRM, and projects platform operated by InfoDigita Technologies. It applies to the Utso application at app.utso.app and to this website, utso.net.
Your Utso account belongs to you. A company on Utso is a separate thing from the individual user accounts attached to it, and the two are deleted separately. See sections 2 and 4.
2. Delete Your Account in the App
If you can sign in, you can delete your own account yourself, from your profile settings in the Utso application at app.utso.app.
Deleting your account removes your user account and the personal data held under it, subject to section 5.
3. Request Deletion Without Signing In
You do not need to sign in, and you do not need to install or open the app, to ask us to delete your account and its data.
Email privacy@utso.net with:
- the email address your account is registered under;
- your full name;
- what you want deleted: your own user account, or a company account and its data (see section 4).
We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will action it within a reasonable time, subject to section 5.
4. Deleting a Company Account
A company administrator can delete the company account and the company data held under it, such as employee records, attendance, payroll, CRM, and project data.
Deleting a company account does not delete the individual user accounts attached to it. Those people keep their Utso accounts and are simply no longer part of that company. Each of them can delete their own account as described in section 2 or section 3.
If your record was entered by your employer and you want it removed from that company’s data, contact your employer first. They control that data, and we act on their instruction. This is also explained in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
5. What Is Deleted and What We Must Keep
- Data is deleted from our production systems.
- Residual copies may remain in backups until they are purged in the ordinary course of our backup rotation.
- Where a company’s subscription ends, company data is retained for up to 30 days to allow export, and is deleted after that.
- Some records must be kept where the law requires it, for example statutory payroll and tax recordkeeping. We keep only what those obligations require.
Cancelling a subscription is not the same as deleting an account. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not delete your account or your data. See our Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
